ECH To Hold Gala Fundraiser
Ephrata Community Hospital (ECH) will hold its annual fundraising gala on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 5:30 to 11 p.m. at the Lancaster County Convention Center, East King and South Queen streets. All proceeds from the gala will be used to purchase a full-field digital mammography machine. This year’s gala, themed “Paint the Town,” will feature a performance by world-renowned artist and entertainer Michael Israel at 8 p.m. Following his performance, the art he paints on the stage will be auctioned off live. Part of the proceeds from the live art auction will also be donated to the hospital to purchase the new mammography machine. Tickets for “Paint the Town” gala may be ordered by calling 738-3556 or visiting www.eventsatech.org. The ticket price will include hors d’oeuvres and beverages, dinner, dancing to the band Cruise Control, Michael Israel’s performance, and a silent auction.
