CWS Is Seeking Blankets, Clothes
Church World Service (CWS) of Lancaster is seeking new and used blankets and quilts of all sizes for clients who will experience their first Pennsylvania winter. Blankets and quilts can be dropped off Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the CWS office, 308 E. King St. Winter coats, sweaters and footwear are also needed, along with such items as hats, gloves and scarves. The agency needs coats and winter clothing in adult small and all children's sizes. CWS is also seeking drivers to transport refugee families to the clothing bank in Lancaster, which is open from 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays and Fridays. Interested individuals should call 358-9721.
