L-S Students Earn AP Awards

Eighteen Lampeter-Strasburg (L-S) High School students have earned AP Scholar Awards in recognition of their exceptional achievement on AP exams taken during the 2008-09 school year.

Five students qualified for the AP Scholar With Distinction Award by earning an average grade of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken and grades 3.0 or higher on five or more of these exams. These students include 2009 graduates Daryl Duran, Kyle Goodbred, Emily Harnish, Sarah Jamieson, and Jordan Landis.

Four students qualified for the AP Scholar with Honor Award by earning an average grade of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken and grades of 3.0 on four or more of these exams. These students include 2009 L-S graduates Maren Bennett, Katelyn Brubaker, Natalie Maneval, and Logan Smith.

Nine L-S students qualified for the AP Scholar Award by completing three or more AP exams with grades of 3.0 or higher. These students include 2009 graduates Kristen Benner, Christopher Conrad, William Demora, Josiah Donaldson, Theodore Force, Gabrielle Maerz, and Evan Westerlund and current L-S seniors Leif Arnesen and Chelsey Ott.
