Dressing On A Dime Planned

The Phoenixville Breast Cancer Awareness Coalition will host Dressing on a Dime, a fashion show featuring fashions from the Phoenixville Hospital Thrift Shop and cancer survivors as models. Dressing on a Dime will be held on Sunday, Oct. 25, at the Bistro at the Franklin Commons in Phoenixville. The event will begin at noon.

Seven women, ages 30 to 75, will model and one young man survivor will serve as their escort. Their stories and wisdom will be woven throughout the Sunday brunch event. The goals of the event are to raise awareness of breast cancer and other cancers affecting women, to raise much-needed funds to assist the coalition in fulfilling its mission to provide screenings free of charge for the uninsured and underinsured, and to celebrate the lives of women living with cancer.

Advance ticket purchase is required. For more information, readers may contact Lynn Pike Hartman at (610) 917-9890 or lphartman@pchfl.org .
