Marching Band Will Perform

Lincoln University’s “Orange Crush” Roaring Lion Marching Band will perform at the Youth Education in the Arts Battle of the Bands on Sunday, Oct. 18, at 1 p.m. in Franklin Field in Philadelphia.


The year-old Lincoln University marching band will perform in a battle of the bands at the Franklin Field in Philadelphia on Sunday, Oct. 18. The "Orange Crush" Roaring Lion Marching Band is one of four marching bands from historically black universities that will perform at the Youth Education in the Arts Battle of the Bands. The show will begin at 1 p.m. and will also showcase bands from Howard, Morgan State, and Cheyney universities.

Youth Education in the Arts, based in Allentown, is a not-for-profit organization that supports the development of young people through participation in the arts.
