Church Burns Loan Papers
The Presbyterian Congregation of Middletown, Union and Water streets, celebrated the retirement of a $160,000 improvement loan during the morning service on Oct. 11. The loan enabled the replastering and repainting of the 230-seat sanctuary, the installation of new sidewalks and steps into the bell tower, and other improvements to the church. Members of the Property and Maintenance and Stewardship committees took part in the burning of the loan papers. Middletown Area Shopper - 10/28/2009 |
