Ellis-Barbato  Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Ellis
The marriage of Laura T. Barbato and Christopher M. Ellis took place on Sept. 5. Roberto Cluka officiated at the 5:30 p.m. ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Al Barbato and Terri Nyborg of Skippack. She graduated from Phoenixville Area High School in 2005 and from West Chester University in 2009. She is employed by Philadelphia School District. The groom is the son of Maie Jeffers of Phoenixville. He graduated from Phoenixville Area High School in 2005 and from Harkum College in 2009. He is currently a student at Delaware Valley College. The maid of honor was Diana Barbato, Philadelphia, sister of the bride. Serving as best man was Jay Jeffers, Pottstown, brother of the groom. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Laura wore a formal couture gown with a six-foot train and a tiara. She carried roses and gerbera daisies. The reception was held at the Milano residence in Phoenixville. A wedding trip to the Caribbean is planned for spring 2010. The couple resides in Horsham.
