Perkins-Sweigart  Mr. and Mrs. John Perkins
The marriage of Deborah Sweigart and John Perkins took place on July 11 at Mount Joy Mennonite Church, Mount Joy. Joe Sherer officiated at the 10 a.m. ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Kenton and Sue Sweigart of Mount Joy. She graduated from Donegal High School in 2005 and attended Geneva College. The groom is the son of Dea Perkins of Medina, Ohio. He graduated from Buckeye High School in 2003 and attended Geneva College. He is employed by the Federal Aviation Administration, Euless, Texas. The maid of honor was Kate Sweigart, Mount Joy, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jill Hershey, Mount Joy; Rebecca VanRegenmorter, Hudsonville, Michigan; Nicole Benner, Landisville; Zoe Rohrer, Lancaster; Elise Keener, Mount Joy; and Alexis Rohrer, Lancaster, cousin of the bride. Serving as best man was Marlo Shaw, Euless, Texas. Groomsmen were Nick Dieter, Medina; Blake Sweigart, Mount Joy, brother of the bride; Luke Duriancik, Pittsburgh; and Neal Sweigart, Mount Joy, brother of the bride. The bride was given in marriage by her parents. The reception was held at Eden Resort, Lancaster. After a wedding cruise to the eastern Caribbean, the couple resides in Euless, Texas.
