Dover Band Show Slated
The fifth annual Dover Band Show is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 24, at Dover Area high School stadium. Seven area marching bands will showcase many of York County’s noncompetitive bands and was created five years ago as a way to give the students a late-season performance opportunity. Gates open at 5 p.m., and the show begins at 6 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the stadium gates. In the event of rain, the show will be held in the high school gymnasium. The schedule includes performances by the following area schools: Dover High School, Hanover, Northeastern, Steelton-Highspire, West York, Central York, and Dallastown.
