Meyer-Nelson  Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Meyer
The marriage of Rebecca Karen Nelson and Daniel Scott Meyer took place on May 23 at Immanuel Church in Wilmington, Del. The Rev. Dr. Bayse Reedy officiated at the 3 p.m. ceremony. The vocalists were Michelle Nelson and Heather Nelson. The processional and recessional were provided by a chamber orchestra. The bride is the daughter of Paul and Patty Nelson of York. She graduated from Christian School of York in 2003 and from Eastern University in 2007. She will obtain a master's degree in clinical psychology from Eastern University's Graduate School in 2010. The groom is the son of Bernard and Deborah Meyer of Wilmington, Del. He graduated from The Tatnall School in 2004 and from Eastern University in 2008. He is employed by KAM Marketing, Wilmington, Del. The maids of honor were Michelle Nelson and Heather Nelson, both of York, sisters of the bride. The bridesmaids were Stacey Meyer, Wilmington, Del., sister of the groom, and Tiffany Meyer-Fish, King of Prussia, sister of the groom. The flower girl was Sarah Barnes, Harker Heights, Texas, cousin of the bride. Serving as the best man was Bernard Meyer, Wilmington, Del., father of the groom. The groomsmen were Lonnie Fish, King of Prussia, brother-in-law of the groom; Jay Carelis; and Logan Osberg. The ring bearer was Aaron Barnes, Harker Heights, Texas, cousin of the bride. The bride was given in marriage by her father. The reception was held at the Hotel du Pont in Wilmington, Del.
