Library Posts Book Signing

The Honey Brook Community Library will host a book signing with local authors Jonas and Anne Beiler on Thursday, Nov. 12, from 6 to 8 pm at the library, 687 Compass Road, Honey Brook.

In his new book “Think No Evil,” Jonas Beiler, who was raised Amish and later became a counselor, examines the tragedy at the Nickel Mines Amish School, after which he served as a mediator between the Amish and the media. In the book, he offers his first-person account of the events, as well as the accounts of those who were closest to the scene, including surviving children, a volunteer fireman, the local counseling center director, and a first responder EMT. The book also describes the responses of Amish families.

Anne Beiler is the founder of Auntie Anne's Pretzels. In her book, “Twist of Faith,” she tells the story of building her business and also of the tragedies and triumphs of her life.

Attendees may stay for the event’s full time or drop in at any point to purchase books and get them signed. Both books will be for sale, and the Beilers will donate a portion of the sales to the Honey Brook Community Library. Readers may contact the Honey Brook Community Library at 610-273-3303 with questions.
