Mohrs Celebrate 70th Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Harold A. Mohr Sr.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold A. Mohr Sr. of Bainbridge celebrated their 70th anniversary on Nov. 4 with a large church/community card shower and a drop-in party.

Mr. and Mrs. Mohr were married on Nov. 4, 1939, at Kernstown, Va., by the Rev. Simon McGaback.

They are the parents of Sandra Moore of Elizabethtown, Harold Mohr Jr. of Maytown, Dennis Mohr of Bainbridge, Mary Prokopchak of Elizabethtown, Jerry Mohr of Mount Joy, and Rodney Mohr of Columbia. They are also the parents of the late Sheila Doutrich and the late Donald Mohr. The couple has 20 grandchildren, 18 great-great grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Mr. Mohr worked for Olmstead Air Force Base for more than 27 years and for the state of Pennsylvania for 15 years. Mrs. Mohr has served as a homemaker, mother, and grandmother.

Mr. and Mrs. Mohr are charter members of Word of Life Chapel, Bainbridge.
