Christ Church United Church of Christ of Elizabethtown held its vacation church school in August. The theme was "Marketplace…Walking with Jesus," and church members created a marketplace to replicate a place where Jesus may have visited. Participating children made crafts, sampled different foods, performed in small plays, learned to plant seeds and grow food, and collected food items to donate to the Elizabethtown Food Bank as an outreach project. Arlene Ober, the director of the food bank, visited to talk to the children about the food bank.
