Mummert-Schaeffer

The marriage of Laura Schaeffer and Jeffrey Mummert Jr. took place on April 5 at Zion Lutheran Church, York. The Rev. Stanley Combs officiated at the 1 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Steve and Claudia Schaeffer of Mount Wolf. She graduated from Northeastern High School in 2001 and is employed by Rite Aid, Mechanicsburg.

The groom is the son of Jeff Mummert and Brenda Tietsworth, York. He graduated from West York High School in 2000 and is employed by Comcast, York.

The maid of honor was Megan Derr, Mount Wolf. Bridesmaids were Katie Nade, Manchester, and Andrea Shearer, Dover.

Serving as best man was Jeff Mummert, York, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Benjamin Livingston, York, and Eric Schaeffer, Mount Wolf, brother of the bride.

The bride was given in marriage by her mother and father. The reception was held at Celebrations, York. After a wedding trip to Walt Disney World, the couple resides in York.
