Day Trips Scheduled

The York Township Recreation Department, 190 Oak Road, Dallastown, will hold a Day Trippers trip to New York City, N.Y., on Saturday, May 10. A bus will depart from the York Township Municipal Building, 25 Oak St., at 6:30 a.m. and arrive back at 11 p.m.

Once in New York, participants will be able to enjoy many activities, such as shopping, walking through Central Park, seeing a Broadway show, or taking a tour of the city on a double-decker bus.

Another trip to New York City will be held on Friday, June 13. Girls may bring a favorite doll to enjoy a visit to the American Girl Doll Store. Lunch and shopping will be included in the day's events. The bus will depart from the York Township Municipal Building at 6:30 a.m. and arrive in New York City at approximately 11 a.m. Departure from New York City will be at 5 p.m., and the arrival time back home will be approximately 10 p.m.
