Eternal Spring To Close Season

The Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra (HSO) will pay tribute to the spirit of spring on Saturday, May 10, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, May 11, at 3 p.m. with the final masterworks concert of the 2007-08 season, "Spring Eternal." The concerts will take place at the Forum, Fifth and Walnut streets, Harrisburg.

A lecture by Dr. Truman Bullard will be presented one hour prior to each concert. The orchestra will perform selections that include "Appalachian Spring" by Copland, "Till Eulenspiegel's Merry Pranks" by Strauss, and "The Rite of Spring" by Stravinsky.

Ticket prices will vary, depending on the seating area. Tickets may be purchased without processing fees by visit www.harrisburgsymphony.org. Tickets are also available by calling 545-5527.
