CPAA Sets Meeting

The Central Pennsylvania Animal Alliance (CPAA) will hold a meeting on Tuesday, May 13, at Isaac's Restaurant in the West Shore Plaza, Lemoyne, from 7 to 9 p.m. Individuals interested in learning more about CPAA and volunteer opportunities are invited to attend to meet representatives from CPAA member rescues and shelters.

May's guest speaker will be Amy Wimmersberger, a founder of the Merrick Fund Foundation, whose discussion topic will be the fund's provisions for catastrophic and emergency medical care for animals without owners. CPAA is also seeking volunteers for its Woofstock Riverfront Park event, which will be held on Sunday, Sept. 28.
