Afternoon Tea Planned

Dress for Success South Central Pennsylvania will host Something to Share - An Afternoon Tea on Sunday, June 1, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Holiday Inn East, Linden Road, Harrisburg. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m. Kathy Silks, vice president of community relations at a local media station, will be the guest speaker.

Dress for Success South Central PA is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support, and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Since January 2007, over 600 women have been suited, basic computer training for 36 individuals was provided, and 22 refurbished computers were donated.
