Library To Host Blogging Class

Elizabethtown Public Library, 10 S. Market St., invites the public to attend a workshop titled “Blogging Basics.” It will be held on Tuesday, May 20, from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

The workshop will be taught by Ronald P. Heasley, director of information technology at Elizabethtown College. Topics to be covered will include definitions of blog-related terminology, how to start a blog and how to use it for professional development.

Attendees are encouraged to bring one’s own laptop computer, though a few may be at hand to borrow for the class only. Participants will receive an e-mail from Heasley before the class so he can learn about their computer experience and interest in the topic.

Anyone interested in attending the workshop may visit the library, call 367-7467 or e-mail information@etownpubliclibrary.org. Parking is available behind the library, off High Street, on the street in front of the library and in various local municipal lots.
