At a recent celebration, Bainbridge Elementary School in the Elizabethtown Area School District accepted four picnic tables and umbrellas from Covanta Energy of Lancaster and Lancaster County Solid Waste Management (LCSWM). The school plans to use the tables on its playground to provide seating and shade for students during the day. Presenting the items to the school from LCSWM was Barbara Baker (back row, left). Covanta presenters were (back row, continuing from left) Kevin Connor, facilities manager; Ron Hendershot, operations supervisor; Jeff Rosepink, shift supervisor; and Jeremiah Gibson, crane operator. Students participating in the presentation were (front row) Cameron Gable, Gideon Hawthorne, Hannah Ruby, Brooke Geyer, Tyler Rosepink, and Shawn Carter.
