Basket Bingo Will Be Held

The Kids On Pumps Support group (KOPS) is sponsoring a basket bingo event to send children to Camp Setebaid, a camp in Shickshinny for children with diabetes. Several children are sent to camp every year with the proceeds from the bingo. This year's event will be held on Friday, May 9, at 7 p.m. at Pioneer Fire Company 1, 200 N. Waterford Ave., Marietta.

Tickets may be purchased for a set price in advance or for a higher price at the door. Tickets may be purchased by calling Karen Rupp at 426-4776. More information about KOPS, which provides support for parents of diabetic children, may be received by calling Dee Davis at 625-5681.

Tillman Rupp, the 11-year-old son of Karen Rupp, is among the diabetic children who will benefit from a basket bingo event on Friday, May 9, at Pioneer Fire Company 1, Marietta.
