Group Slates Annual Sale

On Saturday, May 10, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., London Grove Friends Meeting, Route 926 and Newark Road, will hold its annual plant sale. There will be a wide variety of native plants, annuals, perennials, herbs, hanging baskets, bedding plants, ground covers, grasses, vegetable plants, shrubs, and trees. London Friends kindergarten will also sponsor a lunch and bake sale.

The sales will be held rain or shine. Free parking is available across the street from the meetinghouse.

The event has been held annually for more than 25 years. The groups helped by the sale include the Kennett Senior Center, His Mission, La Communidad, Alliance for Better Housing, Community Gardens of Chester County, Tick Tock Early Learning Center, Kennett Area Community Service and Food Cupboard, American Friends Service Committee, Friends Committee on National Legislation, and Friends Journal.
