State Of County Meeting Slated
The second of a series of summit meetings on “The State of Western Chester County Region” will address infrastructure issues. The event will take place on Friday, May 9, at Delaware County Community College, 100 Bond Drive, Downingtown. The session will begin with registration at 7:30 a.m. and will conclude at 10:30 a.m.
The series of interactive sessions with industry experts will focus on key issues. The speakers will be Thomas Tuffey, director of PennFuture Center for Energy, Enterprise and Environment; Brian Hassinger, network manager for Pennsylvania - American Water; Todd Darlington, external affairs manager for Verizon; Greg Cary, regional external affairs manager for PECO Energy Company; and Kevin Broadhurst, governmental and community affairs director for Comcast Cable. Tuffey will be the moderator.
The speakers will discuss infrastructure issues and how they impact businesses and residents. The challenges and obstacles facing the region will also be discussed.
