School Conducts Cleanup Event
On April 19, students, parents, and the faculty of the West Fallowfield Christian School participated in the 18th annual community cleanup event.
More than 250 students and family members fanned out across roads and parks in western Chester County and eastern Lancaster County to collect trash and recyclables. Younger students traveled to local parks for the cleanup effort, while older students and parents collected trash along county roadways. Parent volunteers transported the bags back to the school for collection. The school also accepted donations of aluminum or scrap metal to support the campaign.
The Saturday event counted as a school day for the students. The event also served as a fundraiser, as families were sponsored for their day of work.
